Free & Reduced Meal Applications
Free and Reduced Meal Applications for the 2020-21 school year are now available.
All households are encouraged to apply. Only one application per household should be submitted. You may apply online or download and print the application at one of the links below. Please return all paper applications to you child's cafeteria. If your child was approved for free or reduced-priced meals for the previous school year, they will remain on the previous year's status for the first 30 days of school. If an application is not submitted on or before Friday, September 18, 2020, your child will begin receiving full-priced meals.
Paper applications can take up to 10 business days to process. Online applications are processed usually within 2-3 business days. For any questions, please contact the School Nutrition Office at (706) 876-7264.

Whitfield County Schools Nutrition Department is excited to offer a new prepay system online. This new payment option will not replace cash and check payments, but is an additional payment option for your convenience. Features offered by the online solution are:
- See your student’s meal balance at anytime from anywhere
- Deposit payments for multiple students in just one click
- Setup recurring payments for monthly or weekly deposits
- Reviewing individual student meal histories
- Automated notifications via email or text when your student’s balance falls below an amount you choose
Visit K12 Payment Center to setup your child’s account, or download the K12 Payment Center App on the App Store or Google Play Store. You will need your child’s Student ID number to setup an account. If you do not know your child’s Student ID number you may contact your child’s cafeteria manager. Click here to view upcoming enhancements to the K12PaymentCenter digital payment system.
Students have a limited charge privilege. If an elementary or middle school student arrives at school without money, they are allowed up to (5) five days of charges. If a high school student arrives at school without money, they are allowed up to (3) three days of charges. If the student has reached the charge limit, he/she will be provided an alternate meal (such as a cheese sandwich and milk). Every effort will be made to notify parents of charges and the alternative meal policy at the first negative balance, utilizing automated calls, letters and email. Charges are not allowed for extras or a la carte items.
