Parent Involvement Policy

  • CCRPI (College and Career Readiness Performance Index)

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 requires that parents or guardians who have children attending a Title I school be notified of how well their school is preparing its students for college and or career, as well as the school's designation status under Georgia's ESEA Flexibility Waiver.

Under the 2015 renewal of Georgia's ESEA Flexibility Waiver, certain Title I schools continue to be designated as Reward, Priority, or Focus Schools. The Waiver allows the use of the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCPRI) as the comprehensive report card for all schools in Georgia, providing a score between 0-100 for each school-measuring how well the school is doing in preparing its students to be successful in college and or a career.

Cedar Ridge Elementary's CCRPI score for 2017 is 73.5. More information and details about this score can be found at ccrpi.gadoe.org
