  • Middle School Testing Calendar

    Please click the link above to view the Middle School Testing Calendar. The purposes of the Georgia Student Assessment Program are to: measure student achievement of the state mandated curriculum, identify students failing to achieve mastery of content, provide teachers with diagnostic information, and assist school systems in identifying strengths and weaknesses in order to establish priorities in planning educational programs.

  • New Hope Annual School Report Card

    The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) prepares Georgia’s State, Local, and School Annual Report Cards. The Annual Report Cards contain test results as well as other information relevant to school performance toward the goals of student achievement and school completion. The Report Card is in compliance with both state and federal laws with respect to reporting requirements. GOSA partners with the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) to produce the K-12 Public Schools Reports since much of the data comes from GaDOE.

Kodiak Athletic Announcements

  • ARCHERY TRYOUTS

    Archery Tryouts be Monday, September 30 through Friday, October 4th from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. ALL SPORTS can TRYOUT and participate.  If you need additional time to tryout, please contact Mr.Harrison at chris.harrison@wcsga.net . PICK UP a forms in the front office or from your homeroom teacher. You do not have to have a physical to tryout HOWEVER, you will need one if you make the team.

  • ARCHERY TRAINING

    New Hope Middle archery coaches will be hosting a free training for any NHM student that would like to tryout for the incredible Kodiak Archery Team for the 2019-2020 school year!

    Training will be held Monday, September 9 thru Thursday, September 12 from 3:30 to 5:30 in the New Hope Middle Kodiak Gym.

    Training is optional and you do not have to participate to tryout. Archery is a year long sport but does allow you to participate in other sports during the year. You will not need your own bow for training, but if you have one, it must be a NASP approved Genesis bow. DO NOT BRING ARROWS. Also, please keep in mind that bows are NOT allowed on our buses. 

    Sports physical not required for training, but is required if you make the team.

Each year, Campaign for Grade-Level Reading uses its Pacesetter Honors to highlight communities that report making measurable progress on key indicators of early school success. Whitfield is one of 32 communities nationwide receiving this recognition.
