Summer Nutrition & Power Lunch Sites
We realize that there are many families who depend on the school system to help provide meals for their children. Beginning Monday, June 1, Whitfield County Schools will provide summer meals at no cost to all children 18 and younger.
Meals are served Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., depending on the site. On these days we will serve multiple meals at one time. We hope that by serving less days we will help with the continued effort of social distancing while still meeting the needs of our students during this difficult time. When students pick up a lunch, they may also take home a breakfast meal for the next day. If you have questions, please call the School Nutrition Department at (706) 876-7264 or (706) 876-7266.
MEAL DELIVERY ROUTES & PICK-UP SITES
Buses will be delivering meals to the community between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Meals will also be served at various school sites between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the car rider lines. For locations and approximate delivery times, click here.
If you are picking up meals at any of our school pick-up locations, please stay in your car and follow the car-rider line. Someone from our School Nutrition staff will assist you from your car by bringing the meals to you.
