  • District Reopening Information

    As there continues to be concerns and questions related to the reopening of schools for the 2020-21 school year, we want to assure families our first priority is the safety and health of all students and staff. The district will continue working closely with the Whitfield County Health Department to determine the severity of COVID-19 in our community. We understand the challenges the novel Coronavirus brings and have plans in place to continue learning outside the classroom should the severity in our county rise. Students eligible for Georgia Scholar recognition are high school seniors who exhibit excellence in all phases of school life, in community activities, and in the home.   • Georgia Alternate Assessment 2.0 Parent Information

    The Georgia Alternate Assessment (GAA) 2.0 is designed to ensure students with significant cognitive disabilities are provided access to the state academic content standards and given the opportunity to demonstrate achievement of the knowledge, concepts, and skills inherent in the standards.
