  • Hello families of Antioch! We hope everyone is having a great summer. With classes starting in no time, we just want to remind all families that this year we are asking everyone to submit their children's lunch requests for free or reduced lunches online.

  • Title l Parent Meetings

    During the next few weeks, parents of students who attend Title l schools will have the opportunity to learn more about their child's education at their school's annual Title l meeting. The purpose of the Title l annual parent meeting is to provide information to parents of participating children about the Title l program and their right to be involved in their child's education.

  • 2018-2019 Parent Engagement Survey

    Whitfield County Schools is working to strengthen partnerships between schools and families. The purpose of this survey is to get your opinion on how well our schools have met your family and children’s needs and how you feel about your involvement in your child’s school. The survey will be available until Friday, September 28, 2018.

  • Whitfield Education Foundation donates $62,000 to Whitfield County teachers

    The Whitfield Education Foundation presented 35 teachers with Innovative Teaching Grants, totaling $62,000. Recipients of this grant will be able to implement various programs in their classrooms, schools and throughout the community.

  • Billboards for Education donates $22,000 to update elementary personal safety curriculum

    The $22,000 grant allows Whitfield County Schools to implement the Lauren's Kids Safer, Smarter Kids curriculum in all elementary classrooms. This new curriculum focuses on teaching children the tools to protect themselves from abuse of any kind.

  • Families, let's work together to get our children ready for kindergarten!

    Your child's first years in school can set the tone for the rest of their academic career, so it is important to make sure they are prepared socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically to enter kindergarten. In Georgia, the GKIDS Readiness Check has been developed as an approach to thoughtfully measure the entry-level readiness skills of kindergarteners.
