At Whitfield County Schools, CTAE programs empower students with the knowledge, skills and experience they need to thrive in today’s dynamic workforce. Through hands-on learning, real-world application and industry-aligned curriculum, students explore high-demand career pathways in fields like healthcare, engineering, business, technology, agriculture and more.
Our CTAE offerings include career clusters, work-based learning opportunities, and organizations such as DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA and SkillsUSA. These programs promote leadership, teamwork and professional growth while connecting classroom instruction to future careers.
Whether students plan to attend college, enter the workforce or enlist in the military, CTAE equips them with the tools they need to succeed. Work-Based Learning (WBL)
Bridging the gap between classroom and career.
Whitfield County Schools’ Work-Based Learning program gives high school students the opportunity to gain real-world experience while earning course credit. By partnering with local businesses and industries, students explore career interests, build professional skills and develop a strong foundation for life after graduation.
Whether through internships, apprenticeships or job placements, WBL prepares students for success in college, career and beyond.
