Welcome to Westside Middle School!                                                             

We are located in the northwest corner of Whitfield County. Originally, the site was home to Westside High School. The current site is home to Westside Middle School and serves students in the sixth through eighth grade. Westside is such a special place, filled with amazing staff members who work tirelessly to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of their students. A child’s middle school years can be daunting due to the amount of change that they go through from their sixth through their eighth-grade year. An important part of having success is getting connected and involved with the activities that we offer here at Westside. Involvement in athletic, academic, or fine arts activities will help your child become a more well-rounded student and citizen, and will help set them up for a successful middle school experience. We want to partner with our families and community members as we work to ensure that our students’ needs are met in order for them to be successful. We look forward to working together as we help your child navigate through their middle school years. Please review the Whitfield County Student Code of Conduct and Informational Manual and discuss with your child what behaviors are expected of a successful middle school student, as well as helpful items such as our dress code expectations.
