• NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

The National Honor Society consists of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have maintained a cumulative academic average of 90 or better.  Membership is achieved based on scholarship, leadership, service, and character, which are reviewed by a faculty council for approval.  The candidates will be inducted at a formal induction ceremony at the end of their first year of membership.  The active members must maintain the standards by which they were selected or probation or dismissal from the National Honor Society will result. The National Honor Society is a service-based organization that does various projects aimed at helping the less fortunate, such as feeding the homeless, bringing food to the needy, and participating in fundraising activities. Michelle Bailey is the sponsor.

National Honor Society will meet on one Tuesday and one Thursday each month in Dr. Bailey's room (31) starting at 8:00.  Students should attend one of the two meetings each month or an extra service hour will be assigned.
