Offensive Coordinator/QB's - Drew Carter
Coach Drew Carter has spent the last eight years coaching high school and college football. He is a 2007 graduate of Northwest Whitfield High School. He earned a BA in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from LaGrange College.
Coach Carter was a four-year starter at quarterback at LaGrange College where he helped lead the Panthers to their first win and conference title in school history. He was an all conference selection at quarterback, a team captain, and graduated holding 39 school records.
After graduation, Coach Carter served as the receivers’ coach for LaGrange College from 2011-2012. In 2013, he served as the wide receivers coach for Villa Rica High School where he coached two all-region wide receivers. From 2014-2015, Coach Carter served as the Elbert County High School wide receiver and running backs coach. During his time there, the Blue Devils made back-to-back state AAA quarterfinal appearances, and he coached three all-region running backs and wide receivers. In 2016, Coach Carter served as the Central-Carrollton offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Coach Carter has spent the last two seasons serving as the quarterback’s coach for Pepperell High School. While at Pepperell, Coach Carter helped the Dragons make two straight trips to the AA playoffs. He also produced a quarterback that was named 7-AA offensive player of the year in 2017 and another first team all-region quarterback in 2018.
Coach Carter is married to his beautiful wife, Heather. They have a two-year-old daughter, Camryn.
